I checked out Winterson's website and hope to get to one of her books when I have more time for serious fiction. I'm good w/juvie lit, it's fun. Saw part of The Golden Compass movie. I discovered some good books in college. I watched Casanova (heath ledger) the other night (which was fun actually) and I had to go find "The Passion" by Jeanette Winterson (from my Women Writers class) which was also set in Venice. How are you with "kids books" I REALLY got into the Philip Pullman trilogy (Golden Compass is the first book) interesting what he does with Religion/church aside from a good adventure. Ah yes…assigned reading…how I miss it so. I discovered some good books in college.
