My cousin sent me a book “How to Be Idle” last month and it took a while to realize that books don’t have ‘on switches’. Pretty sad eh?

Some guy left a copy of Hells Angels in the laundry room of an apartment I lived in when I was a teenager. That was enough to make me read everything Hunter wrote. Just a messy, disturbing history of America. Good Job on the Blog.

thank you sir! I was wondering if you’d read that, was gonna pass it on if you hadn’t but I kind of knew you had, cuz ur just cool like that. Messy, disturbing history of America… very well put!

I can’t help but respect a journalist who gets beatdown by the subjects of his investigation! Not that I want to emulate that…. LoL. I love too when he’s trying to keep a stash of beer hidden for himself at a biker rally. hahaha.

Ah yes…assigned reading…how I miss it so. I discovered some good books in college. I watched Casanova (heath ledger) the other night (which was fun actually) and I had to go find “The Passion” by Jeanette Winterson (from my Women Writers class) which was also set in Venice.

How are you with “kids books” I REALLY got into the Philip Pullman trilogy (Golden Compass is the first book) interesting what he does with Religion/church aside from a good adventure.

aaaah, thx for the recommendations, seanie sean sean! I checked out Winterson’s website and hope to get to one of her books when I have more time for serious fiction.

I’m good w/juvie lit, it’s fun. Saw part of The Golden Compass movie. Now I’ll have to add that book to the list, too….

    thx for ur comment :~j
