Jason my love, how are you?? Thank you for the kind words and especially for the update! Since you relocated, I've often found myself wishing you were blogging about "big stinky Shangers" (LOL!) but sounds like you probably dont have too much time for that? (Do it anyway! heheh) I hope your employers know what a gem they have in you! Multiple mahaloz for passing through my humble site, hope to hear more from you soon! xoxox

Jeela!!How's tricks my dear? Gotta tell you that I've been peeking in on your blog every once in a ahile since I got over to big stinky Shangers and it's always such a good read. I'll have to try the vodka/fisherman's friend combo...definitely up my alley!Been working like a fiend since I got here - this is my first Saturday off in 4 weeks - very different ideas about work/life balance over here. Much longer hours but I'm not sure if people over here get as much done somehow....
Saw the NPR piece on Dengue Fever, I'm glad to see them getting some exposure, they're really great people and deserve to get noticed. Still helping out with the movie on Khmer Rock music from the '70s. Hopefully can combine some research on that with some work I'll be doing there over the next couple months.
Goes without saying that I miss Honolulu more and more as I get accustomed to living in a big dirty Chinese city. Clean ocean (well relatively anyway), clean air and a relaxed pace sound pretty good to me now...
Well keep it coming, always a treat to read the bits you share with us-
Love Jason
